Empowering Families Together
PeerNext Group™ exists to make sure no one leaves a hospital, crisis unit, or treatment program and simply “falls off a cliff.”

Our Mission
At PeerNextGroup™, our mission is to deliver and elevate peer services and peer support services nationwide by equipping peer-led programs with clear operating models, training, and accountability frameworks that funders and health systems can trust. We build evidence-informed peer support and peer recovery pathways—guided by WRAP-informed practices, vocational readiness methods, and peer clubhouse community design—so people can move from crisis, hospitalization, detox, or treatment into stability, connection, and forward progress.
By combining lived experience with program design expertise and measurable outcomes, we strengthen the work of peer support specialists through structured supports like consistent follow-up, peer-led groups, systems navigation, and goal planning. We partner with peer organizations, providers, and funders to create safe, sustainable, and scalable peer support services that improve mental health engagement, recovery outcomes, and long-term community reintegration in every community we serve.
You’ve Got a Friend
The PeerNextGroup concept brings the Buddy System to life through secure digital peer services—connecting members to trained peers, trusted resources, and community events. With on-demand access to peer support services and peer recovery encouragement, members can ask for help, share wins, and stay connected from anywhere, anytime—so support doesn’t end when an appointment, group, or program ends.
Continuous Peer Support
Ongoing peer support check-ins—with optional text and video touchpoints—powered by secure, next-generation (patent-pending) tools, plus follow-up after groups and appointments so members stay connected, complete next steps, and never have to navigate recovery and reintegration alone.
Peer Support Circles
Small, confidential peer support circles—and optional 1:1 peer support—led by trained peer support specialists with lived experience. These safe, respectful spaces help members talk honestly, reduce isolation, build coping and communication skills, and strengthen peer recovery through connection and practice.
Systems Navigation and Advocacy
We’ve got your back! Practical, step-by-step peer services support to understand your options, organize paperwork, complete forms, and prepare for appointments—whether you’re meeting with healthcare providers, courts, employers, schools, or community agencies—so you can show up confident and follow through on the next step.
Goals and Planning
Collaborative goal-setting with a peer support specialist, simple step-by-step action plans, and gentle accountability—so peers keep moving toward housing stability, employment, education, and wellbeing at a pace that supports lasting peer recovery.
Training and Leadership Pathways
Structured training and leadership development for peer mentors and peer support specialists—so lived experience becomes ethical, skilled, and accountable practice, with clear pathways into paid, professional peer support services roles across the PeerNext network.

Our comprehensive resource suite gives peers and families practical, step-by-step tools—from the initial crisis through stabilization and long-term recovery—supporting peer services, peer support, and confident follow-through at every stage.
